Total Return Privacy Policy

Effective October 11, 2026

This policy explains how the Total Return app for iPhone and iPad ("the app"), published by Nagotek LLC ("we", "us"), handles information. In short: your portfolio data stays on your device, there is no account, and we do not collect personal information through the app.

Data stored on your device

The portfolios, positions, trades, prices, settings and backups you create are stored on your device. We do not receive, store or have access to them. If you use your device's own backup service (such as iCloud device backup), that service is governed by its provider's privacy terms.

No account

The app does not ask you to create an account and does not ask for your name, email address or brokerage credentials.

Stock quotes from Tiingo

If you enter your own Tiingo API key, the app sends quote requests directly from your device to Tiingo (tiingo.com). Those requests contain your API key and the symbols you ask about, and are handled under Tiingo's own terms and privacy policy. We do not see these requests or your key. Without a key, the app makes no quote requests.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store and processed by Apple. The app uses RevenueCat, a subscription management service, to check whether you have an active subscription. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier and your App Store purchase information, as described in RevenueCat's privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details.

Backups you send

If you email a backup, it travels through the email service you choose and is stored wherever you send it. Backups are not encrypted, so treat them like any personal file.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics. This website uses no cookies or tracking scripts.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
